We met while studying at MSOE in our organic chemistry course. Kaleb was in his third year of college, while Lorrin was in her second year of college. We had numerous mutual friends and remained friends over the next few years because of this as well as a few common interests, such as Pokemon and coding. We started dating at the beginning of 2021. Both of us graduated from MSOE, with Kaleb receiving a B.S. in Industrial Engineering as well as a M.S. in Engineering Management and Lorrin receiving a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering.

Upon graduation, both of us lived close to one another in downtown Milwaukee for around a year and a half. Eventually, we moved into a house together and out of the city to West Bend, WI. Shortly after moving in together, we adopted our dog, Diesel. Over the next few years, we worked on minor house renovations, spent a lot of time with Diesel, and traveled to New York City with Lorrin’s sister (Eryn) and brother-in-law (Ryan).

Eventually, we took our first solo vacation in April of 2024 to the Seattle and Vancouver areas. We got engaged on this trip in Squamish, BC, Canada after going up the Sea to Sky Gondola at Mount Habrich.
